From: The HEART score in predicting major adverse cardiac events in patients presenting to the emergency department with possible acute coronary syndrome: protocol for a systematic review and meta-analysis

Quality level

Optimal study

High

We are very confident that the true prognosis lies close to that of the estimate.

Moderate

We are moderately confident that the true prognosis is likely to be close to the estimate, but there is a possibility that it is substantially different.

Low

Our confidence in the estimate is limited; the true prognosis may be substantially different from the estimate.

Very low

We have very little confidence in the estimate; the true prognosis is likely to be substantially different from the estimate.
